Welcome to my Wedding Cake Photos Page.
This is quite a large wedding cake I did. The layers consist of a 20 inch base ,then a 14 inch square stacked on top with the tall pillars
separating the top tier of an 8 inch cake. The flowers are made of royal icing in shades of purple. They are bell flowers. I use tree fern
to accent the cake with a large bow I made with a bow master.
This is a small wedding cake.Tiers consist of a 12 inch and an 8 inch cake. The flowers are made of royal icing in various shades of
pinks with tiny bows added a simple but pretty cake.
This was a transport nightmare. Since the cake was stacked except
for the top tier it had to have an extra strong base board. At the time I had only a small station wagon and had to measure to
make sure it fit. Since then I purchased a van with lots of head room and space. This cake consisted of a 24 inch square bottom,
then a 14 inch round, a 10 inch round and a 8 inch round ,I used 5 inch pillars to separate the 6 inch top layer. I made the large
bow with a bow master and the florist did the rest. I found if a bride wants fresh flowers on her cake she has to provide them
through her florist, it works for me.
This cake is also very large and is the same as the cake above with different flowers.
This basketweave cake is what I call the troops out for, to help me set up. I'm amazed at how some women can set these
cakes up by themselves, I could never lift one this heavy. This cake consist of an 18 inch and a 14 inch stacked with the
8 inch top tier. The variety of icing flowers complete the basket.
